Behind the bean
Amee is the single mum sharing amazing living culture with her children. Her husband was the strong man who prepared so many things for his family before passing away. Amee and her children are living in Maejantai village, Maesuai, Chiang Rai, Thailand. She believes in working hard to improve her living quality and the future of her children. Her coffee plantation is growing very well with mix coffee varieties and growing together with peach, plum, apricot and tea. Being agriculturalist is a privilege life for her because she could enjoy producing a quality of produce and access food security.
She has been producing very fine coffee for Akha Ama and always aim high for better quality. Her son is helping her throughout the process of coffee production from the primary stage of coffee cultivation until the end of the parchment beans. For us, she could be one of the best farmers who produces very high quality of washed process coffee.
Special note about Amee
Amee is very easy smiley person and appreciated in simple stuffs in life. She loves to help other farmers for harvesting. Her daughter now is living in Taiwan and support Amee for every stage. Her son is working in new processing station to enhance coffee quality and wish to have better coffee in 2021.
